FREE Mobile Banking

Buffalo Metropolitan’s free mobile banking app allows you to review your account balances and histories, transfer funds between accounts, and pay bills directly from your iPhone, droid, or blackberry device.

Follow these steps to begin:

1) Search Buffalo Metropolitan FCU in the app store and click “FREE” to install app.

2) Log in using your online banking username and password. Call 716.847.6960 if not currently enrolled in free online banking.

3) Select which method you want to receive your activation code; email or online. If selecting online, access the code by logging into
online banking from a desktop, go to Services and select Device Activation. If selecting email, you must log into your email account to
obtain a code you will enter on your mobile phone.

4) When step 3 has been completed you may tap continue on your cellular device.

Bill Pay Mobile Banking Feature: Users must have a checking account and online bill pay set-up through online banking to access Bill Pay via Mobile Banking.
Directions to enroll in FREE bill pay - Log into online banking, click Bill Pay listed under the Services tab, accept terms & conditions, and set-up payees.


Mobile Check Deposit

One more app. One less errand. Introducing mobile check deposit: the latest, must-have app for 24/7 convenience. You don’t have time to visit a branch every time you want to make a deposit. That’s why our new mobile check deposit app makes it fast – and – easy to make deposits anytime, anywhere. Just snap a photo of your check with your smartphone and send it safely and securely into your account.


URGENT notice you need to know.

  • Checks must be marked “For mobile check deposit only” & endorsed with your signature
  • Do not throw away or destroy a check until you see it posted to your checking account
  • Some checks may have a hold; refer to Funds Availability Policy for further information
  • Some checks will not be accepted (ex: some rebate checks)
  • Mobile check deposits will be deposited into your checking account; transfer into other accounts via Mobile Banking

Mobile check deposit posting.

Mobile check deposits made:

  • Before 2:00 P.M. Monday- Friday and before 12:30 P.M. Saturday will be credited to your account the day of the deposit
  • After 2:00 P.M. Monday- Friday, after 12:30 P.M. Saturday or on a Sunday will be credited to your account on our next business day

Enroll-in or reset password for Mobile Check Deposit.

Enrollment in mobile check deposit must be completed from a computer; enrollment cannot be completed via smartphone.

A valid email address must be provided; an email confirmation will be sent within 3 business days with directions to complete the enrollment from your smartphone if you have been approved. This email address will also be used to notify you when a check submitted via mobile check deposit is not acceptable.

You will need your mobile check deposit username when resetting your password via the link above. Please call 716.847.6960, option 3 if you have forgotten your mobile check deposit username.

Don't have internet access on your cell phone? You can still access your account with Audio Response. Audio Response is a convenient and secure way to access your account over the phone and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
