Direct Deposit Update!

Please be informed as of April 1, 2008, the Buffalo Metropolitan Federal Credit Union can no longer post your payroll deposits or any direct deposits prior to your actual pay date!

If your normal pay date is Monday, your payroll will post at the Credit Union on Monday.

If your normal pay date is Tuesday, your payroll will post at the Credit Union on Tuesday.

If your normal pay date is Wednesday, your payroll will post at the Credit Union on Wednesday.

If your normal pay date is Thursday, your payroll will post at the Credit Union on Thursday.

If your normal pay date is Friday, your payroll will post at the Credit Union on Friday.

All social security and pension deposits will be posted on the effective date of the actual pay date. No longer can we post these deposits a day early.

All deposits should be available to you at the open of business on your pay dates.

We value your membership and hope this does not cause any inconvenience. Be sure not to write checks unless your payroll has been deposited. You can access your account through our Audio Response system or through our PC Home banking system.

If you have any questions please call the Credit Union at (716) 847-6960 ext. 233, 231, 232, 234, or ext. 251.

Why direct deposit?
Safe: No more lost or stolen checks
Convenient: If you are sick, on vacation, or simply can't get to the Credit Union, your money is in your account
Dependable: Payment is available at opening of business on your payroll date

With direct deposit, you can be sure that when "payday rolls around", your money is in your Credit Union account. Your pay is available immediately as cash, unlike your payroll deposit, which may take days before you can access it. It's easy to sign up. Give your payroll department the following information.

Routing and transit number 222079424
Your Credit Union account number as it appears on your statement
Tell your employer whether or not you want to deposit to shares, share drafts, or both

Just stop in the Credit Union to let us know if you would like distributions made to accounts other than your shares or share draft accounts, such as your Holiday Club, IRA or Loan.
