Apply for an ATM card which will permit you to make deposits, withdrawals, and transfers from your share and share draft accounts anytime, wherever you are. To do this you will need a validated ATM card and a PIN (personal identification number).

Swipe & Sign.
When using your Visa Debit card, tell the cashier credit; you will not have to provide your PIN. Some merchants will have you sign the receipt and others may not depending on the total amount of the purchase. Debit card transactions are automatically deducted from your checking account.
Access Your Money at a Register.
With cash back they'll add the amount of money you want to the purchase. Stores that allow cash back include Wegmans, Tops, Rite Aid & Aldies. For other stores, simply ask the cashier if the store allows cash back.

- Visa's Zero Liability Policy*, which protects you from unauthorized charges. Any funds taken from your account due to fraudulent use will be returned to you.
- Continuous fraud monitoring to detect and prevent suspicious activity on your debit card.
- A 3-digit security code to verify your identity for online and phone purchases.
You receive these security protections when you use your Visa Debit card for online, phone and mail orders or for purchases at merchants that do not require a signature.

Please contact Buffalo Metropolitan at 716.847.6960 if you are traveling outside the U.S., or to New York City and surrounding areas, Philadelphia and surrounding areas, or the states of West Virginia, Connecticut, California, Illinois, Florida, Texas, or Georgia, so there are no interruptions or difficulties when using your Visa debit card. Visa debit cards are blocked in these areas because of past compromises.
